Greater Houston & the Texas Gulf Coast
A roof is fourteen things. You can see one of them
Roof replacement, repair and storm assessment across eight counties, from inside the Loop out to Katy and The Woodlands and down to the coast. All work is performed by insured local roofing professionals.

Start with what is actually wrong
Most roofing websites open with a photograph of a house against a blue sky and a form. This one opens with a section drawing, because the useful conversation about a roof is about its parts: which one failed, why, and whether that is a repair or the end of the roof's life.

What the storm record says about this market
Between 2021 and 2026, NOAA logged 404 hail and damaging-wind reports across the 8 counties this site covers. 256 of them were wind. 148 were hail. Neither number includes a hurricane: tropical wind is filed under event types this extract does not carry, which is worth knowing before you read a quiet July as a quiet July.
That should change how a roof is built here. Wind uplift starts at the perimeter, so the starter course, the drip edge and the nailing pattern do more for a Houston roof than the impact rating printed on the shingle wrapper. Wind-driven rain gets in at those same edges from the other direction, which is why the membrane under the first few feet of roof is not an upgrade. And between storms it is the sun that does the slow work: heat and ultraviolet light are what end a roof on this coast, not a hard winter.

Where we work
Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, Brazoria, Chambers, Waller and Austin counties. That covers the city itself, the suburbs from Katy and Cypress round through The Woodlands, Kingwood, Sugar Land and Pearland, and the bay and coastal communities from Clear Lake and La Porte down to Galveston.
There are pages for thirty-two of those communities, each with the housing stock it actually has and the storm events NOAA has actually recorded near it.
It is a market with real variation in it. A 1968 ranch in Meyerland with a flat-roofed den on the back and a 2006 two-story in Katy fail in completely different ways, and a roof three miles from the bay has a corrosion and certification conversation that neither of them has. All of the parts involved are in the anatomy drawing.
How we talk about money
No price on this website, and no calculator that produces one. A roof cost depends on the number of squares, the pitch, how many layers are coming off, what the deck turns out to be like, how many penetrations and valleys there are, and whether a truck can get near the house. Any figure produced before somebody has looked at those things is a guess dressed up as a quote.
What you get instead is a written scope that names what is being installed, so you can hold it next to somebody else's and see the difference.
Free inspection, photographs slope by slope, and a written condition report you keep.
Request a free inspectionDo you charge for an inspection?
No. You get the photographs and the written condition report whether or not any work follows.
How quickly can somebody come out?
For an active leak, as fast as somebody can get there safely. For an inspection, usually within a few days depending on weather and on how many storm calls are in the queue — and after a named storm, the queue across this whole region is long, which is the honest answer rather than a promise.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. Flat and low-slope commercial work is a different scope and a different conversation, so say so when you get in touch and it will be routed properly.
Who actually does the work?
Insured local roofing professionals working in this market. Not a storm-chasing crew that arrives after a hail day and leaves with it. Texas does not license roofing contractors, so what to check instead is worth five minutes before you hire anyone.
All work is performed by insured local roofing professionals. Texas does not license roofing contractors at state level, so insurance, references and a written scope are what there is to check.
